Shame on Vice President JD Vance.  And shame on anyone who tries to make excuses for him.

Friend, what are you talking about?  Are you talking about his protectionist views on trade?  Are you talking about his position on social issues like abortion, same sex marriage, gender affirming care?

No. Not this time.  What I’m talking about is JD Vance and his refusal to clearly and decisively condemn the right wing antisemitism of people like Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes.

  • In a December 2025 NBC News interview, Vance was asked about concerns that antisemitism is growing inside the Republican Party after Carlson hosted Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes. Instead of affirming the seriousness of those concerns or condemning Carlson’s actions, he said he didn’t see “some simmering antisemitism that’s exploding” in the party. Jewish Telegraphic Agency
  • At Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, Vance did not criticize Tucker Carlson even after backlash over Carlson’s interview with the bigot Nick Fuentes, and Vance framed strict denunciations of extremists as “purity tests”, suggesting he opposed exclusionary rhetoric rather than explicitly condemning the conduct of extremists or those who give them platforms. • At a Turning Point USA college event, Vance was confronted with a question that included a conspiratorial and demeaning remark about Jews. Rather than condemning it strongly, Vance responded by discussing policy backlashes and foreign policy, which drew criticism that he missed a chance to call out antisemitism directly.

Time and time again, given several opportunities, JD Vance has not distanced himself from them or from their Jew hatred.  And just this past week, he did it again.

During an interview on CNN, Vice President JD Vance was asked flat out:  “Does the conservative movement need to warehouse anybody out there espousing antisemitism in any way?”

And Vice President JD Vance said flat out, “No, it doesn’t.”  He continued to give his thirty thousand foot answer that “I think we need to reject all forms of ethnic hatred whether it’s antisemitism, anti-black hatred, anti-white hatred.”

If you slip in Islamophobia after anti-black, anti-white hatred, you know who Vance sounds like?

Yup.

JD Vance sounds an awful lot like the left-wing, woke Democrats.

When they perk up and decry Jew hatred, they can’t bring themselves to single it out for its uniqueness and singularity.  They glibly lump it in with other forms of racism, particularly Islamophobia.

Jews are being attacked in the streets of our cities, but we also have to warn against Islamophobia.  Synagogues are being smeared with antisemitic, hateful graffiti, but we must also condemn Islamophobia.  Jewish students are under assault on our college campuses, but we must also assail the Islamophobists.

But here’s the diff.  Jew hatred in the year 2026 in the United States of America is unlike other forms of ethnic or religious hatred.  It is active, it is violent and must not be diluted by political correctness or inclusivity.

On the list of haters Mr. Vance should slap down is another right wing podcaster whose antisemitism is now in full bloom.

This past week, Megyn Kelly became a full-fledge member of the Jewish conspiracy club.  In a conversation with one of that club’s board members, Fucker Carlson (oh, did I misspell his name???), Kelly praised the king of Jewish conspiracy theories, Prick Fuentes (oh, did I misspell his name???), saying “He’s very interesting and he’s very smart.  And on a lot of things there is value to be derived from that guy’s messaging…He actually has a lot of things he talks about that you’re like, that’s not a bad point about our country.”

Kelly also strongly suggested the media are controlled by, (who else?) pro-Israel Jews, and blamed the Jews (why not?) for changing public opinion of Muslims.

Welcome to the club, Megyn Kelly!

JD Vance may think there’s no need for him to say or do anything to curry favor with his boss and wrangle a presidential endorsement from him.

But what happens when Trump is really focusing on who will be his successor and let’s say he’s leaning toward JD but he could also slide over to Marco Rubio.  But what if, let’s say, Ivanka Trump calls daddy and says, dad, pop, father, Mr. President, sir, you can’t endorse a guy who won’t denounce all these people who think your Jewish grandchildren are the devil’s spawn.

What will Trump do?  He’s played footsie himself with Fuentes and Carlson.  But Ivanka does have his ear.  Will she even make that call and if she does, will he listen to her?

What will make all this speculation moot is if JD Vance cleanses himself of these low lives.  He needs to make a full-throated and unequivocal repudiation and condemnation of these hate wholesalers.

Mr. Vice President, you can do it in a press release, you can do it in a speech, or you can do it in a hillbilly elegy, but you must do it and you must do it now.  Do it, JD, just do it!
